Research Assistant - Professor Benjamin Gedan Position
The research assistant would support Professor Benjamin N. Gedan (fall course: “Institutional Crises in Emerging Markets: The Case of Argentina”) in completing and publishing a book on Panama's surprisingly smooth management of the Panama Canal as a case study in state-owned enterprise management. Responsibilities would include research, fact-checking and copy editing. Secondly, the research assistant would support the production of a diplomatic case study regarding U.S. search and rescue efforts in South America following the disappearance of Argentina's ARA San Juan submarine last November. Responsibilities would include archival reviews, interviews, public records requests and research.
