ERE Summer Internship Position
The Energy, Resources and Environment Program is hiring a summer intern to help the Program complete a number of exciting and interesting projects over the summer. Ideally, the prospective intern would be a first-year ERE student, with knowledge and understanding of social media, excellent oral and written communication skills, and a sense of adventure. The Program is able to offer between 15 and 30 hours per week, depending on other commitments you might have over the summer. The summer intern could apply for ERE fall semester hours as well.
Summer responsibilities could include:
- Creating list of key ERE agency and organization contacts in DC. Entails identification of contacts, confirming interests, possible meetings (great networking possibility!).
- Reviewing and finalizing new on-line basics of environment course
- Helping to develop social media campaign
- Helping to create and write ERE fall newsletter
- Other tasks as assigned
Start date: June (flexible)
End date: August (flexible)
Hours: 15 – 30 hours week -- to be determined
