EES Program Assistant for Calleo Seminar Series (European Studies) Position
The European and Eurasian Studies Program (EES) is seeking a self-motivated and detail-oriented assistant to support seminars and support faculty research as assigned.
The EES Program Assistant will interact with prominent guest speakers of the Calleo seminar series, work with EES faculty, engage with the public and the SAIS community. Under the guidance of the EES Program Manager, programming tasks will include logistical planning, room set up, and events promotions (via social media, Bluser, campus flyers). Training will be provided. Additionally, faculty research support may be assigned.
The ideal candidate will have availability for the following scheduled Calleo seminars (calleoseminars.eventbrite.com) on Thursday evenings, 5:00-8:00pm, and additional flexible hours as needed for event planning and promotions (5-7 hours/week). Additional seminar dates may be assigned.

The position will begin the first week of the term (Tuesday, 3 September 2019) and conclude on 13 May 2020 (a flexible hiatus during winter break).
