Research Assistants for the Henry A. Kissinger Center for Global Affairs Position
The Henry A. Kissinger Center for Global Affairs seeks graduate research assistants (GRAs) to provide research and support to Center faculty and staff. Established in 2016, the Kissinger Center promotes the understanding and application of history and geo-strategy to contemporary statecraft.
The Center is looking to fill multiple GRA positions. Responsibilities in the latter category include: (1) planning and organizing conferences, presentations by visiting scholars, and other Center-sponsored events; and (2) contributing to the Center’s communications strategy, helping to build out its web presence, and engage with the scholarly community.
Successful candidates will have strong interpersonal, communication, and writing skills, the ability to think critically and act decisively, and experience conducting scholarly research.
The role will require between 10-19 hours per week, with flexible hours, for the entire spring semester. A continuation into the summer or fall semester is possible depending on performance. Students will earn $15.00/hour. Applicants must be Johns Hopkins University students and eligible to work in the United States. International students are welcome to apply.
The Kissinger Center will review and consider applications on a rolling basis up until Monday, January 27, 2020.
