ERE Summer Research Fellow Position(s) with Prof. Sarah Jordaan Position
Interested in working on research related to energy and environment? Want to learn or hone your GIS skills and understanding of energy infrastructure?
Professor Sarah Jordaan is hiring a limited number of summer research fellows for the summer of 2020. The scholars will be working with an interdisciplinary team on machine learning (i.e., computer vision) and satellite imagery analysis of energy systems.
Candidates with an energy/resources/environment background and a penchant for data/analysis are encouraged to apply (as well as students eager to learn more). Students who have successfully completed relevant coursework will receive priority.
The remuneration will come in the form of a summer stipend that amounts to $6,250 for each fellow for 2.5 months of research ($2500/month for each fellow).
Start/End Date: negotiated, mutual agreement.
Time Commitment: 40 hours per week for 2.5 months over the summer.
